Sky Father

When we talk about mythology and gods, the past time in story telling invokes in me the existent reality of those gods. Let’s say “Thunder had wife Žemyna and nine sons”. All of this sounds like events that happened a long time ago. What are all these gods doing now? Did Titans overtake Olympus?

I think that in our subconscious they are still very real and alive. Our ancestors and the whole continent was led by various gods for thousands of years, so the connection with them hasn’t disappeared anywhere.

In this picture is shown wakening Thunder/Zeus/Jupiter. It’s as if he turned into a mountain or a volcano. His blue portrait reflects stagnation and death. Although this bright, flowing, a marmalade- like lava says that the mountain is awakening, that it emits smoke into atmosphere and spits fire. There are three planets circling in the sky.

Culture, traditions and faith have been changing for thousands of years constantly. What do you think – is it possible for gods and goddesses to resurrect again in our culture? Once awaken, what would they awaken in us? Perhaps receiving serious help to solve global problems is indeed what’s needed now.
