The Dawn of Life

This painting is about birth and showing up under this Sun. The composition, placed on the wings of an eagle, reflects the essence of the picture – we come to be born, to experience all these feelings of our free choice. We need to remind ourselves of this freedom when we feel abused.

The herald of dawn, Forus, the eastern star, greets the new dawn of life – the body matured by the eternal Mother, the spirit sown by the Father. Combined, these elements descend into life through the wings of an eagle. And the most wonderful thing is that we mature the same seed inside ourselves, that will be planted one day – whether it will be the birth of a child, the birth of a new painting, or a birth of a new self. Freedom.
