Woodpecker drumming as a heartbeat of the forest

I started painting this picture before my 33rd birthday and finished after it. I feel like a lot of reflections, shapes and colors of life have fallen here. The work is constantly changing, dynamic, but at the same time there is sense of calmness and confidence. It is about the flow of life, flying in the world full of ideas and turning them into expressions. The numbers 3 and 5 also appeared during painting process unexpectedly. All these qualities are perfectly reflected in the symbolism of the woodpecker. I see fragment of this bird in the centre of the piece, and most of the lines as traces of his flight. Woodpecker symbolise activity, dynamism, the ability of quick reorientation and trajectory change, it also means success in projects and helps bring to life the most appropriate partnership. Also in this picture one rune emerged, which is the rune of the Sun, meaning joy, light, success.

I think everyone in this picture will find a conversation with themselves. The unusual thing is that the painting does not have the “good” side of the exhibit, everyone can hang as they wish, and after a while flip over and look at it and discover more and more new stories.

This piece is very suitable in the background of minimalist, Scandinavian or modern interior. You will have a friend with whom you can always chat.
